...Or physics or chemistry or something, but did you know that if you happen to open a bottle of sparkling wine and don't manage to finish it - I know, I say the craziest things - a teaspoon placed in the neck of the bottle - handle side in obviously. You'd have a devil of a time getting the head of the spoon in first - maintains the sparkle of the wine!! Amazing huh??
Debs has been informing of this fact for months, and I've been sceptical I'll admit, but this week - tried it for the first time and, I'll be blowed, it actually works, a bottle of wine opened on Tuesday is still fizzy on Friday, 3days later. Marvellous!!
wow--thanks for sharing! My boyfriend and I were going to take champagne with us to central park last week but we didn't since we thought we wouldn't finish it all, and would then end up wasting it.
