I know red wine is good for you....
...but 3 glasses of rioja and no food beyond 2 pretzel sticks last night does not make for a happy Fish on this frigid Thursday morning.
I'm old enough to know better I really am.
I walked the 2miles in to work to try and burn off some of the residual alcohol. It's baltic out there. By the time I arrived at the office I couldn't feel my face. My plan didn't really work either, I still feel a bit worse for wear.
Could we keep the volume down today please. Much appreciated.

Aw Fish, that sucks! I've never actually been drunk but I had 1/2 glass of red wine one night and got so sick I had to leave the party... it was awful.
Its freaking cold here too! -2 this morning! YIKES. Stay warm and feel better soon
Hi Sassy, thanks for the well wishes. The spring has been returned to my step a trip to the gym. There's nothing like 30mins on the ArcTrainer for aiding hangover recovery.
I marvelled at this comment "I've never actually been drunk" - clearly you are not British. We do like a tipple ;-)
ahhh, booze. always a good idea at the time.
sister sassy: you've never been drunk! i envy you in a way. booze is such a part of british socialising and here in poland....well......
Fish I think you have a problem. This is your interrvention. Go directly to the Betty Ford clinic, do not pass go, do not collect R200 (-;
I feel your pain... I recommend in future a can of coke and a packet of salt and vinegar crisps to sort you out!
Hi Flowers, yes, it seemed like a marvellous idea at the time. Today I feel much better :-)
Hi Sid, yes I have a problem, a problem that I don't always eat when I drink :-)
Hi Miss Dish - I'm with you on the can of coke. I wish I could get a pack of salt and vinegar crisps, but they don't sell that flavour as standard here - it would require a special trip to the Brit shop in the West Village :-)
oh no! lol.
I haven't been hung over in ages. I can't drink that much anymore. I don't know what happened to me. The college years are over!
It's so cold out. Don't get sick.
Take care, Fish!
Hi Kitty,
Feeling much better today thank you :-) It's the lack of food that does it for me.
I decided against walking to work today when I checked NY1 and it said it was 17F. Brrrrrrrrrr!! Wrap up well and have a lovely weekend.
No salt and vinegar crisps??? What kind of backward city are you living in?! ;o)
Hi Miss Dish, I know, it's ridiculous ;-)
