It's always good to know what your friends think of your dates
“Thanks for sending through the pic of Bill my darling, that’s a much better one! I checked him out on your Facebook last night- but his profile isn’t open so could only see his tiny profile pic. I thought he looked a bit like Catweazle!!”
Catweazle???
I’m not quite old enough to remember the show, but according to Wikipedia, Catweazle was “an eccentric, incompetent, dishevelled and smelly (but lovable) old 11th Century wizard”
Dishevelled and smelly???
Seriously Miles, these may be desperate dating times, but I do have some standards. Huff!!

OMG! I've never heard that, but funny!
Sassy, do not encourage him. Miles is a cheeky bugger and right now he's bloody lucky he's living 3000miles away in London :-)
that's a pretty scary photo!
Hey Flowers, I KNOW!!! For the record Bill does NOT resemble Catweazle, although now Miles has put that thought in my head I fear Bill and I can never be. Hmph!!
Hehe, Miles is just jealous! :-)
Hi Blur Ting, I am sure you are right, Miles must have a touch of the green eyed monster ;-)
That picture woke me up out of my daydream! Although he does have pretty eyes...
Hey 206, yes he's a little startling and absolutely nothing like Bill. I would post a picture of Bill if I could, but it would get me into trouble and undoubtedly ruin any chances I might have of getting my leg over if he visits in April ;-)
lol. I assume that is not a compliment?
I've never heard of the catweazle dude, and I see I'm not missing much!
Haven't heard of Catweazle either. Thanks for including the pic. LOL!
Hi Sid, Kitty, soooooo not a compliment.
I was familiar with the name, but not the show. I had vague recollections when I read about it on Wikipedia, but it said the show was big in 1970 and I was born in 1971, so slightly before my time. Miles is 5years older than me, so he must have watched it as a young 'un.
Have a good day ladies!!
Catweazle? Interesting. I think I heard that term before, but I didn't know what it meant. Oh dear...Miles is indeed a cheeky bugger he he he...
Hi Amel, yes the name was familiar to me, but I didn't recall the show. I love the fact that you've picked up 'cheeky bugger' ;-)
HE HE HE HE...Yeah, having spent some time with my Brit friend and her hubby in my Finnish course makes me hear lots of British terms, like "Old Chap" for instance HE HE HE HE HE HE...
That's cute Amel
